The BSSA runs beginner and intermediate classes at 6.30 pm on the same nights as our monthly meetings.
Non-members are welcome to attend two classes before we ask that they join the BSSA.
Each class has five topics and will be run through twice per year.

Getting to grips with Varroa - $129

In this 4 hour session starting at 9:am located at 3 Laurel Avenue Campbelltown SA, you will come to understand the lifecycle of the mite, how it affects your colony and what you can do about it. Learn about Integrated Pest Management to give your colony the best chance to fight the mite and end with a practical in-the-hive session doing a mite monitoring activity.
