The Beekeepers Society of South Australia (BSSA) holds monthly general meetings on the second Monday of each month (including public holidays) at the Burnside Community Centre.

The meeting begins at 7.30 pm, however we encourage members and non-members alike to join fellow beekeepers (or would be beekeepers) before the meeting at 7 pm. Networking opportunities can occur after meeting between 9:00 - 9:30 pm

For a $2 donation you can enjoy a tea, coffee and something delicious to eat. This is a valuable opportunity for new beekeepers to meet experienced beekeepers, to share skills and knowledge and to catch up with beekeepers you may not have seen for a while.

You can also take this opportunity to purchase raffle tickets, peruse the BSSA library and return any library books you have borrowed.

Beginner and intermediate education classes start at 6.30 pm and run for 45 minutes before the main meeting. Bookings are essential, please visit our classes page for more information and bookings.

The general meeting is recorded and can be viewed on our website and Facebook a few days after the event. You will need to log in to see the video.

Please use the 'Register' button to register for the general meeting, even if you are also attending a beginner or intermediate class. This will assist with faster registration at the beginning of the meeting.

If you wish to pay for a membership on the night, contactless payment is preferred.
